Tucson International Airport (TUS) is the closest airport, about a 20-minute drive from the University of Arizona. It’s served by major carriers with direct routes to several U.S. hubs.
For more flight options, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is roughly 115 miles (about 2 hours) north, connected to Tucson by frequent shuttle services.
Tucson Airport โTucson is accessible via Interstate 10. The Grand Challenges Research Building is on the north side of the UA campus near Cherry Avenue. Visitor parking is available in the Cherry Avenue Garage and nearby campus lots.
UA Visitor Parking โThe Sun Link Streetcar connects the UA campus with downtown Tucson and the Fourth Avenue district, where many restaurants and shops are located. Rideshare and local taxis are widely available.
Sun Link Streetcar โAll sessions take place in the Grand Challenges Research Building (GCRB), a state-of-the-art facility on the University of Arizona campus. Check-in and badge pick-up open at 8:45 AM on Day 1 (June 8).
